LIVERPOOL CHAMPION GOLF DAY 2011

On Friday the 19^th of Sept, Tacca Industries entered a team into the Liverpool Champion Newspaper golf day held at the beautiful New Brighton Golf Course.

Contested between local businesses from the south west of Sydney, this annual event attempts to raise money for local charities or individuals in need of a helping hand. This year’s event was in aid of 5 year old Tristan de Maria who tragically lost his leg in an accident at his parents Rossmore property in December 2010.

Tacca Industries is proud to announce the 15 year anniversary of dedicated loyal service by our Sales Coordinator, Kathy Zappia.

Kathy has been a familiar and friendly voice to many customers over the years and has successfully fulfilled a variety of positions within Tacca Industries.

"We have a good history of retaining staff, and employees such as Kathy make us immensely proud" said company Managing Director Mr Clem Tacca.

Tacca Industries proudly announces the appointment of Mr Peter Doran JP to the position of Quality Control Co Ordinator.

Peter has dutifully carried out his role as purchasing manager for the past 3 years and will continue to develop and foster excellent working relationships with our many suppliers.

"We see this Q.A role as an important part of the manufacturing process and Peter's many years of experience will assist us maintain the excellent quality we have provided to our customers over the years" said General manager Mr Domenic Tacca.

TACCA WELCOMES THE 2010 WORLD CUP

The World Cup 2010 is finally here, and for die hard football tragics like National Sales Manager Bill Manser and Business Development Manager Peter Bourke its going to be a month of sleepless nights!

"They have called Group D the "Group of Death" but Australia still have a great chance of making it out of the group stage if they can keep a consistent team on the park," says Bill Manser - who also supports the mighty Liverpool FC club in the English Premier League.

Spain is Peter Bourke's tip for the title whilst he predicts Paraguay could also be a good value dark horse. Being a staunch Everton supporter, there is obvious support from Peter to Tim Cahill and the Australian side in this World Cup which hopefully promises to be as competitive as previous Cups.

Time will tell, but one thing is for sure, if the Aussies can't win it then I certainly will be cheering for the defending champions - Italy!

TACCA TO SHOWCASE ITS PRODUCTS AT PMA FRESH EVENTS 2010

Tacca Industries will again be showcasing its products at this years PMA Fresh Events Conference during the 9th - 12th June 2010 to be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Along with its own standard and customised range, this year Tacca Industries will be displaying products from Royal Interpack in Thailand who also has a comprehensive range of produce punnets and clamshells.

Peter Bourke, Business Development Manager for Tacca Industries said, "PMA offers a great opportunity to show the industry leaders what TACCA have to offer, which is why we have participated in this event every year. This year is more exciting as we have Royal Interpacks products to present also, giving our customers even more options with their packaging."

TACCA BRINGS PRODUCTION BACK INTO AUSTRALIA

Tacca Industries has recently installed their new high speed Vacuum Forming machine from Europe. This machine will predominately manufacture products such as strawberry punnets, the award winning 200gm Twin Flap punnet and various produce and bakery trays which previoulsy were imported from Asia.

" We are very excited to have finally found a machine that means manufacturing in Australia is now cheaper than importing. That's both exciting news for TACCA and for manufacturing in Australia as a whole" said Domenic Tacca, General Manager of Tacca Industries.
